It's a cozy cuddly day

Its cold, and we are spending the day snuggled on the couch - hot cocoa, cookies, and Christmas movies..... having lazy days like this always feel so luxurious... mmmmmmmmmm

Baby it's cold outside

I have been so slammed with work this week, and have been out late most nights.  Tonight I am looking forward to getting home, turning the Christmas tree lights on, popping a bottle of wine, and writing out my Christmas cards next to the fire (aka the yule log channel on Kris's massive big screen).

Doesn't it just sound delish?!

I love this city!!

Do I have talented friends or what?!  My old friend Henrick took this photo on his new fancy shmancy camera... San Francisco is seriously one of the most picturesque cities in the world.  GORGEOUS!

These are TO DIE FOR

And well worth every penny I might add... yes, a splurge of course, but a woman literally pulled her car over on saturday to tell me how fabulous my new footwear was...

Kris has no idea how much they were, but I think it's best that way.  My feet have been thanking me.

Yes, Home Decor now makes me excited

Framed Blue Reflections Print

So a few months ago... it feels like years now... I was day-dreaming about our soon to be love nest, and moving into the new apartment.

I had posted that "compromise is like brussels sprouts" and noted how I was looking for decor that reflected both of our tastes - contemporary (a nice way of saying modern) and classic (a more "modern" way of saying traditional), HA!

Well, I had been lusting over this extremely reasonable print by Ballard Designs, and today, I finally pulled the trigger and bought it!  In seven to ten business days it will be mine, all mine!  I will have to post of a picture of it in our apartment that is slowly but surely coming together (slowly being the operative word here).
